The most consistent show of the new fall season, Pushing Daisies, deserves at least a few thoughts and a mention. The second episode of the season, overflowing with sadly not quite as much dark humor as cute quirky moments, still left me “drooling” for more. A few people are worried that a show this perfect can’t last. That it might eat itself up with it’s own cuteness and drown in debt from it’s elaborate production value. ABC’s latest show in the new Fall ’07 lineup, Pushing Daisies is finally here. The only thing I’ll give it is that it’s beautiful, it’s quirky, it’s delightful, and it’s one I hope to watch for a really long time. As one fan said on the official Pushing Daisies website, “it’s wonderful, charming and dirty”. Ok, I’ll give it that too. Pushing Daisies is about Ned, a pie maker who has the power to bring people back from the dead, but not without life-altering consequences.
