This weekly feature highlights TV-related posts on other blogs that I like to read regularly. I’m currently subscribed to 12 TV-themed blogs, and like a billion trillion miscellaneous blogs. Okay, so I’m subscribed to way more blogs than I actually read. Anyway, Enjoy the links.
• Mark Frauenfelder from BoingBoing.net recently spoke to Adam Savage from Mythbusters about an upcoming episode where they tackle the airplane on a conveyor belt myth. Can a plane take off of a conveyor belt if it can reach the proper speed? I don’t know!!! Read the full entry here.
• The How Stuff Works Daily Feed posted a video on How The Smurfs Work. It’s a short and informative watch on the origin of these little blue creatures. Watch it here. continue reading »

Another segment in the Terminator franchise is here and it’s actually pretty sound. The general consensus is to forget about the 3rd movie which I think is perfect since I’ve seen the 3rd movie, but don’t remember anything about it. Terminator 2 was my favorite movie way back in Junior High, and I believe it stayed in first place until Pulp Fiction came along. It was the first rated R movie I was ever allowed to see, so it will always have a special place in my heart. continue reading »

So this is it huh? What we’ve been wondering about. The end of Meredith and McDreamy. It seems like this break is going to last a good long while. No more back and forth. No more sort’ve dating. It has lots of cool little features like the “dim the lights” button which turns the white area of the screen dark grey to help you see the video better. The videos are high quality, and the amount of content is amazing. Hulu has tv shows, movies, and clips of tv shows such as continue reading »

Futurama, the beloved futuristic drama of Simpsons creator Matt Groening, was inexplicably and unfairly canceled from Fox’s schedule but later found a home on the up and coming late night Adult Swim period airing on Cartoon Network. It continue reading »

One of the things you’ll always find with cable tv is that the shows can ever so often be replayed many times over. I am grateful for this and I feel this really helps with

As we all know by now the WGA is striking. I must say that despite our support of the WGA I am interested to see how the late night crew will handle their returns. We won’t be seeing Stewart/Colbert until next week but tonight we finally saw continue reading »

Each week we’ll watch one show and offer up three opinions. As always sometimes we’ll agree and sometimes we’ll violently disagree enough to slap the other in the face with a fish. Unfortunately you won’t get to see any of that hot fish slapping action but whats left is One Show, Three Opinions. This week is Tin Man continue reading »
