I can’t believe I forgot to post about Tin Man. If you haven’t heard about Tin Man, it’s a Sci Fi channel original Miniseries based on the Wizard of Oz, and it looks awesome. It stars Zooey Deschanel and Alan Cumming so expect plenty of talent. continue reading »

Nov22

TV Gadgets: Giant-Comical-Oversized Universal Remote Control 2

Nov20

Giant Universal Remote ControlAccept no substitutes: So I bought a giant universal remote control from Walgreens for about $10. It’s great because it’s super hard to lose, and I love holding it in one hand while raising my pointy finger high, then swooping down to push the ginormous buttons with an over exaggerated motion.

Best of all, after a whole week the novelty hasn’t worn off yet. In fact, the only complaint I have is that I can’t program it to my DVR. You can program this bad boy to 3 things; the TV, VCR, and DVD player, so I have it connected to Keri’s TV which is continue reading »

Whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine

he's so hot that he's buuuurningWhen is Burn Notice coming back on the air? What do you mean Summer of 2008? Do you know how far away that is from now? OMG I can’t wait that long! You see I love Jeffrey Donovan. I first fell for him in the US version of Touching Evil. There was definitely something about him and the show was quite good. Still I turned away from it for a second and it was canceled. How could they eh? Well who cares because eventually Burn Notice and Jeffrey Donovan found continue reading »

Quick Hits:NBC’s Green Week 0

Nov13

NBC had an entire week devoted to being greengreen! that was in no way anything to do with sweeps. The week showed a variety of its programming focused on the need for conservation to combat the growing issue of global warming. This is a very commendable effort that basically gives us a chance to have a show down on who had the best green week show? continue reading »

Quick Hits: Scrubs–Its so easy to say goodbye 1

Nov13

After the introduction of the pregnant girlfriend storyline I tuned out on Scrubs last season. After all it has always been one of those shows that I never quite knew what day it was on TV. In all reality I’ve watched more episodes in syndication than in its regular time slot but I’ve always spoke nicely of it. As does most of my friends. “Oh I like that Show. I don’t really keep up with it but the episodes I’ve seen are great.” I assume continue reading »

Quick Hits: Big Shots 0

Nov11

They wanna be big shots but they arent

I don’t recall a single ad on a bus, remember a single interview, or even remember hearing some big names were returning to tv in this show called Big Shots. So I guess it’s not odd the only reason I heard about this show was while watching another ABC show online. The odd thing is that it stars some well known actors. We have Dylan McDermott as the womanizer Duncan plus Michael Vartan as the newly continue reading »

Where Are They/Google Game: The Cosby Show 0

Nov6

The series in which we will pick a show from TV Land or Nick at Nite and find out what the main stars are up to now. Then google a phrase pertaining to that persons character and see what Google spits out.

The Cosby Show Season One DVDAfter all these years the one thing i remember about The Cosby Show is the men of this show giving birth to submarine sandwiches and airplanes i think…I can’t remember, but how weird was that???
Dr. Heathcliff “Cliff” Huxtable: Played by Bill Cosby. Bill is currently on a book tour promoting his new book, “Come On, People: On the Path From Victims to Victors” by Bill and Prof. Alvin F. Poussaint. From amazon.com “The authors aim to help empower people as they make the daunting transition from victims to victors.”
