Each week we’ll watch one show and offer up three opinions. As always sometimes we’ll agree and

sometimes we’ll violently disagree enough to slap the other in the face with a fish. Unfortunately you won’t get to see any of that hot fish slapping action but whats left is One Show, Three Opinions. This week is Kid Nation “Bonanza is Disgusting”

Last week, I set out to watch 40 hours of television. I watched a lot of good shows (HIMYM…), and a lot of bad shows(Cavemen…). I pretty much watched tv before and after work every day and averaged about 6 hours a day.
Everything seemed to be going smoothly until continue reading »

I remember seeing the preview for Weeds a few years back and I wasn’t really
interested. I watched a few episodes and thought “meh”. How wrong was I? If your answer is “incredibly wrong you ignorant cow!” then you’re very right. Here are a few ways I was wrong.
1) Mary Louise Parker–As if she could do any wrong. If you doubt this statement then I dare you to watch her act in anything then continue reading »

Last week, MSN TV Blog wrote about Entertainment Weekly’s interview with Sopranos Creator David Chase about the Soprano’s Season Finale’s final moments. I’ve only seen the first two seasons, but i did catch those last few moments on Good Morning America the next day. I definitely understand why people were angry, but I don’t believe it was because they wanted to see Tony die for his sins. “The pathetic thing — to me — was how much they wanted his blood, after cheering him on for eight years,” said show creator, David Chase. I agree that maybe some people wanted to see some Tony guts, but I believe everyone watching just wanted something…ANYTHING to happen. continue reading »

“House” returns tonight (finally!) with what looks to be a great follow up to “97 Seconds”, where he electrocutes himself just to see if there is anything after death. His final words of the episode gave me chills and would lead us to believe that he saw nothing. Hopefully tonight we’ll find out when the ‘diseased of the week’ sees deceased “Grampa House” at the foot of her bed. Will Gregory House finally believe? I don’t care so much to know but only because the journey of making him question his disbelief in everything and trying to prove it is all of the fun.

For those of you unfamiliar or just too afraid to check out “The Boondocks“, the smartest most hilarious cartoon social commentary out there, don’t be. The new season so far has so far lived up to its previous remarkably. Sadly, it is the only Adult Swim Show I make it a point to watch with the exception of my roommates “Robot Chicken” addiction. If you haven’t seen it enough or not even at all at least try it out. And if you don’t believe in “The Boondocks”, believe this: Air Marshall 50 Cent will forever live in my heart, “…or die tryin’”.

This time of year is very familiar. All the new fall shows have debuted. You’ve had the opportunity to watch at least one episode of each new offering. Some you liked from the start, some you gave another chance for various reasons, and some you very rightfully hated before they debuted (see:caveman like a mofo). However, now is the time for cuts. Now is the time to say this is a show I will stick with through the good and the bad or at least until the shark is jumped. My pick for best new fall show is Chuck.
Its well written, interesting, and soundly acted. My God what a great cast eh? No one ever gives three cheers for the people who put together great casts and I won’t cheer three times here but they’re definitely getting 2 and a 1/2 cheers from me. The sister loses you half a cheer. continue reading »
